after completing 6 months on-the-job training as a trainee-physical
therapist. (Click here to see certification from
Iloilo Mission Hospital)

In Singapore Julia
- first worked for two years from May 05 to May 07 as a domestic helper
for a family of 5, including 3 children who were independent - being teens
or older. At the end of 2 years she went home.
- She returned to Singapore 3 months later in Aug 07. She left in Nov 08.
Madam was a stay-at-home mom and took care of her own baby who was 5 months
old when Julia started working for her. However, Julia took care of the less
glamorous aspects of children: making baby formula, washing and sterilising
the feeding bottles and, as the baby grew, preparing the baby's solid food.
- Currently she is a caregiver to an elderly woman in her mid-90's. She
has decided it would be more prudent to employ a full-fledged nurse.

Julia has the skills necessary to take care of a newborn as she used to work
as a live-in nanny for one year. (See work history above).
