to work, Remy took care first of one newborn, and a year later, yet another

Childcare
Remy has good childcare experience. She took care of her own son during the
first 4 years on her own. Before she got married she attended a seminar on
care of a baby. Then in U.A.E. she took care of her employer's 2 children
both from birth. Her employer was working.
In Singapore she took care of her employer's youngest of 3 children aged 10
at the start.
Remy is familiar with the tasks childcare entails: preparing formula for
infants, bathing them, changing diapers, etc. She taught the children in her
care nursery rhymes, the alphabet, counting, etc.; she also sang and read to
them, told them stories.
In Singapore she attended to the needs of the youngest child, aged 10,
escorting her to and from school, prepared his meals and helped her get
ready for school.
Cooking
Remy can cook Filipino food from her being a housewife before she went
abroad. In Singapore, her Filipino employer taught her some Singapore
favourites such as chicken curry and steamed fish, to mention 2. She also
refers to the cook book for ideas. Her cooking is about average.
Personality
Remy is neat and tidy and simply dressed. She is fairly outgoing, attentive
and alert. She loves children and between cooking and childcare, she prefers
childcare as her priority. However, she is prepared to learn more about
cooking.
